The client asked for a video surveillance system covering key points of the Olimpia delle Tofane slope, operational for the entire duration of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic Games. Material selection and equipment placement had to withstand the harsh environmental conditions typical of high mountains in winter. The system also had to be fault-tolerant against power outages and connectivity loss, and integrate advanced AI features to support the surveillance staff: highly reliable notifications, remote control from an app, and role-based permissions across operators.
